Kings of Carbage?
Every day the inbox of TopGear.com is inundated with more entrants for our Carbage section.
Some we've seen before, some we've seen on other websites and some we just can't put up, knowing that their owners would berate us if we did.
But we doff our collective TG caps to the guys at www.barryboys.co.uk, who mercilessly post some of the worst tricked-up, distastefully modded and downright ludicrous cars we've ever seen.
Sections and topics include Shed of the Week, F****d-up Car of the Month, and an encyclopaedic photographic smorgasbord of the worst low-rent rides around. And just to show they're not beyond reproach, the owners of the site post pictures of their own cars for all to see and, er, ridicule.
It's fair to say that some of the language is definitely not of a family orientated site such as ours, and is purely for the eyes of over 18s only.
While for some modding is a way of life - and there are numerous threads throughout the forum deriding the website for posting the pictures - as the site's owners so acerbically point out: 'If you can't take a joke, don't drive one.' |
