Hi Folks,

Been looking for a month or so now and really enjoyed having a good laugh at some peoples idea of car "improvement". Confused

You've posted your cars in Members' Cars whilst displaying a sense of humour, and found the correct thread to introduce yourself in.

The fuck is going on?

Welcome, by the way.

Don't worry, I'll cock it all up soon enough. Embarassed I've got the body armour and battle bowler on stand-by for when I do. Wink

Thanks for the welcome.

Good Afternoon,

Been reading up on the forum for a while now, I'm very impressed with the control and organisation on here!

So, I'm Matt, I'm 21 and I'm an IT Administrator, Technician, Support...whatever the hell you want to call it.
I drive a 1.8TDCI Ford Focus; modifications include a Magic Tree Air Freshner and a 'clip on' Ipod dock.

I live along the wonderful borders of Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire, ideally situated by the countryside with a short drive into either cities.

I look forward to contributing to the forum.

Dolphin Semen to the site.

It's obligatory to show pictures of either your girlfriends / mum's bristols when joining.

I'd even go for Nan's to tell you the truth. Or a sneaky shot of Ol' Granpa having a poo?

Posting away like a tit and only just noticed this.

Long time lurker - round these parts we don't have much in the way of Barry (and a lot of it is here already) so this place fulfills my needs as far as sneering at the terminally thick and cack handed goes.

Stable includes a dull Swedish estate familywagen, a VX220 WiP, a tastefully immaculate Dolomite Sprint and a couple in the pending file. The rest is a collection of large (one of them Barry crushingly large) lorries unlikely to be of interest to anyone here.

The word 'custard' is heading in the direction of this thread with unseemly haste.

Custard proof.

The use of custard (or another food product) in photographs to prove that the vehicle being photographed is in your possession. In lieu of food products, a hand written sign stating that "Kidsinister is an active member of Oldham cycling club" will usually suffice.

This is usually reserved for more fanciful claims of ownership, rather than old Volvos and Triumphs.

Custard proof. I shall explain.

Claims of ownership of exotic/classic/expensive machinery require proof, which takes the form of photographs of said machinery featuring a tin of custard, or failing that the ingredient/condiment of your choice.

Some nice piccies of your Dolly in the Members' Cars section would do for a start.

No nice pics I'm afraid because I can't point a camera for shit. However, I shall at least provide sufficient evidence that I'm not some emotionally stunted 12 year old.

Tugger will no doubt be very interested in the Scammel and the S4 looks beautiful.

Me too. Mightily jealous. My mate shares garagespace with a guy who recently rebuilt a post WW1 truck.
I cant for the life of me remember its name. It looks like a steam truck except it isnt steam. Solid tyres though.
He spent £2k just on the wooden bed on the rear and the new tyres weren't cheap either.

Imagine if you will, an announcer you can barely understand, he refers to a [mfhuugluf], but you're not quite sure what he said.
He seems to be eating something, or perhaps he's a little drunk.
It's remotely possible that he just said something about...
The Scary Door.

I no longer drive this Volvo, I drive this Volvo

Was there something notably wrong with the "I forgot my password like a twat" link?
